Requirements for transportation of Dead Body to India :

(a) Registration of Death with the Consulate ( in case of Indian nationals only).

(b) Death Certificate in original from Canadian authorities (Authenticated by the authority in the province concerned) and a copy thereof

(c) Letter from Public Health Office indicating "No Communicable Disease"

(d) Embalming Certificate, Coroners Certificate for shipment, Name, address, telephone number, etc of the consignee.

(e) Flight details by which the body is to be carried.

(f) Fees: Nil for Indian nationals; C$ 32/- + $2 Consular Surcharge (Total Fee $ 34) for foreign passport holders
